To Drive or Fly? This is a decision that will be affected by the amount of time you have available to get away and, of course, by the cost. There are so many experiences to be had by exploring around in your own vehicle. If you like lakes, there are far too many to visit. If you like festivals there is one somewhere every weekend. Don't ignore the attractions and entertainment in cities. Don't forget the U.S.A. either even though their dollar's exchange rate is too high. If you have more time and the money, hop a plane to get further away. I love Eastern Canada, and parts of Central America, Southeast Asia and, of course, my favourite, the South Pacific. Don't forget Europe as it is full of history that is taught in school. Bring it to life for them. Active or Relaxed or Both? The age of your children and the money you have available will help to determine the level of activity you need to consider on your vacation. A beach destination is usually much more relaxed than a city destination but you may want to consider a combination of the two. The choices are almost endless. Plan on talking to one of our agents for guidance and do your own research as well. Cruising With Children? Today's mega ships offer wonderful programmes to keep your kids active, amused, & educated. This means one thing for parents - relaxation. Royal Caribbean, as one example, has just announced a new children's programme with the intent of increasing the enjoyment of reading. We hope they will be successful in this direction. Most ships include games, sports, artsy activities, and special food, just for them.
