George's Journal: a Collection of Articles The most common comment from people, who join us on our programmes, is that they had fun learning and look forward to the next Bell Journey. Lets Go! We are constantly reminded that people have fun on our tours and having just returned from a tour with 49 Texans through B.C. and the Rockies, it happened again. I love it when the smiles are wide and sincere. We are ready to go again and perhaps you will join us on one of next tours: We have been asked to bring back our popular Dinner / Theatre programme and now have them ready for you. A series of 6 shows has been designed to fill your mind and your stomach from now until next spring. Included are favourites such as Plaid Tidings, 42nd Street and Hamlet. Some shows are new to Vancouver. The brochure is now available. Again, in December, we're off to Vancouver Island for our annual Christmas in Victoria tour. As always you stay in a one-bedroom suite instead of just a hotel room. Join our regulars on this, our 19th year Back to Vancouver Island and the luxurious Wickaninnish Inn for 2 nights in January to enjoy the thunder of a Pacific storm if there is one and if not, to explore the beaches and attractions around Tofino and Ucluelet. This is our 5th year for this tour. February has us off to Florida to board the Coral Princess to enjoy Advantage's Celebration Cruise to Panama and Colombia. This Valentine's cruise is for people who want to discover a man-made marvel and to escape winter to the sun-drenched seas of the Caribbean. Use your air points before they are gone. Been to Cuba and want to see more? In the works is a programme to experience the countryside of this large Caribbean island with a bit of beach as well. Information will be available as soon as we are satisfied with it. Also in the works is a Cultural Mexico tour for those not interested in simply a beach vacation. A local celebrity will be your host. April has us flying to San Diego to board Holland America's Statendam for a cruise to Hawaii, with visits to the islands and then a cruise back to Vancouver's beautiful harbour. This has proven a popular cruise for us over the years. All of these plus more Canadian tours (including Newfoundland again) and an Amazon cruise in November will be available today at the CARP Travel Show at the Star of the Sea until 3 PM.
